Dmdm is a Burmese stray with a big heart, sharp mind, and a delightfully messy creative side. Since talking to humans isn’t his strong suit, he expresses himself through art projects that charm the café community that adopted him. His glasses help his farsighted eyes focus on his craft. Though he’s smart and a bit clumsy, he’s always eager to learn—and one day, see the world.
Dmdm’s glasses were born out of the fact that I felt we needed more glasses representation in the character pool. His glasses are actually two chat bubbles, hence Dm Dm!
Cafe Dmdm
Cafe Dmdm’s end goal is to be an experimental cafe with three different time zones:
AM – Cafe PM – Loiter DM – Live Music
As of today, Cafe Dmdm has appeared at two IONGAF physical experiences, and it’s own solo pop up at the new Day to Day Collective in San Diego.
I designed this kit with Dmdm’s craftiness and interests in mind. It sports a yarn jam holder, hand stamped box, napkin, and pastry bag.
I also made a physical menu for a nice tactile feel when you come to the pop-ups! The menu shifts slightly for each themed event.
