FAEBL (Free All Eternally Beloved Lore) is a creative studio reimagining your favorite childhood characters from nostalgic books, cartoons, and movies in the public domain. Working for FAEBL was an incredible opportunity to utilize my expertise in graphic design, illustration, character design, and animation. I played a crucial role in bringing their projects to life and promoting their mission of celebrating public domain works.
Website Design
MOBILE

DESKTOP

A raw collection of images displaying the process of the website development. Starting with general ideas, then the hook of the website (The Mousetrap Animation), to the mobile/desktop layout, then the color palette, etc.
Character Design

These characters were based on the public domain characters: Winnie the Pooh (1926), Little Red Riding Hood, Pinocchio, and Robin Hood.
Animation Test
Decided to push the boundaries of style and workflow with a test animation. I was the sole animator for this, thus I wanted to see what methods I could use to make my workflow easier while creating a stunning product.
Logo Design

The initial inspiration was based on the “E for everyone” ESRB rating graphic and the circular copyright logo ©. FAEBL strives to make childhood characters accessible to everyone. Thus, mimicking the E for everyone. However, similar to the circle in the copyright © logo, the box in the ESRB rating is restrictive, so I designed a ‘break’ in the box to represent the breaking of traditional copyright ownership.
